In San Antonio Park, the existing (4) underutilized tennis courts have been neglected and heavily damaged over time. Through the resiliency of the community, showcasing the DIY-Urbanistic and grassroot efforts by the neighbors and community-based-organizations, this has been transformed to one of the major park activating features, where families, kids, neighbors come and have a great time. Events such as Town Nights, that have hosted up to 300+ neighbors, families, and allowing community leaders, organizations, city-departments to come together in one space and have a great time! The community organization Trybe has been a major player in making this happen and it has been a pleasure working with them.
